Background: Asi was born in Tangier, Morocco to a Moroccan mother (Malika) and a Catalan-Morrocan father (‘Isam.)

Being the first born son, Asi got anything and everything he wanted.

To say that Asi was spoiled was an understatement. Eventhough Asi was taught to be kind and considerate by his parents, Asi somehow developed an idea that he could take from anyone anything and everything and not think twice about it.

Asi spent a lot of his childhood between Tangier and Catalunya where his father’s family was originally from. Asi was schooled in Tangier, Madrid, and England.

The Durán heir (as well as his siblings) grew up to live the life not every person in the planet would ever had the chance of experiencing. He traveled wherever and whenever he pleased and never had to work for a dime.

Asi grew up to be a very social and determined young man. He played sports and was active in every social event in his school and community.

Asi can be very competetive but hates losing and this could be attributed to the fact that he got his way all his life. The same reason could be behind Asi’s obssession with being the best and wanting to always win that he works very hard on anything he does to ensure victory.

Asi has three younger siblings Isla (24,) Lina (22,) and then there’s the youngest Durán, Iman (17.) Quite amazingly, he gets along very well with his siblings and often tolerate them especially Iman who looks up to him.

Asi’s family owns one of the major construction company in Africa and parts of Europe - Durán-Khabir & Co. The company is co-owned by Asi’s father’s friend, Farouk Khabir. The company is currently part of the construction of new five star hotels in Tangier. They are also working on the Tangier City Centre project and the Tanger-Med Project that will contain the biggest port in Africa.

Asi who, since he was little was told he will be working at his father’s company when the right time comes, had set this idea in his head but didn’t stop from fulfilling other interests such as flying aircrafts.

Asi started learning to become a private pilot when he was 18. He has been flying private jets and plane since he recieve his license after hours and hours of proper training and flying.

After graduating high school in Tangier, Asi was sent to Madrid to attend Universidad Politécnica de Madrid taking up Civl Engineering as preparation to work for his father’s company where he also trained. He finished his degree after five, long years.

The Duráns have several properties all throughout Morocco, parts of Europe including Spain, and in the United States. Some summers, Asi’s father would take him to their home in New York where the Duráns have been frequenting for several generations. They own a few slaves that tend to their properties in the area even when they are not around. It is not a secret that Asi’s father also had slaves when he was younger/before he was married.

Asi is free to do as he pleased whenever he visits New York.

On his 30th birthday, Asi’s father who has been wanting to travel the world with his wife stepped down, handing Asi the position as new co-owner of Durán-Khabir & Co.

As always, Asi wanting to be on top, deviced a plan that could get him there. He suggested to his father to have a word with Khabir about the possibilty of marrying off his daugher, Rasima to him. Asi believes without a doubt that by doing this, he will have full control of the company when Rasima’s father steps down as Rasima doesn’t have any brothers and only has 2 younger sisters.

Asi never takes relationships with women too seriously. He is far too caught up with the things he could achieve and do that he doesn’t waste time getting too seriously involve with them. His engagement with Rasima is completely business and he is, as always, free to do as he please.

Flying to New York, Asi is to spend some time in his home away from home. Looking to buy a couple of slaves to keep him company while in town, New York couldn’t be any more perfect.

New York is one place in the world where Asi takes from anyone anything and everything without any guilt and with all the pleasure he could ask for…

UPDATE: Asi bought his ex-slave, Ambrose’s cousin, Aletheia, a feisty brunette. With the expansion of Asi’s family business in the United States, Asi was required to travel all over the country. With new contracts and big projects, Asi traveled down to South Carolina, temporarily settling in Augustine with his slave, Aletheia.

After a couple of weeks, he traveled back to Tangier to take care the family business and then planned to sail to Malaga then Madrid for a business meeting. They were then unfortunately caught in a middle of a storm and was swept away into a deserted island where he and Theia was for about two weeks. During all these, Asi lost his memory. On July 7th, he and Theia were rescued and brought back to Tangier and was treated in Madrid. On July 25th, Asi decided to go back to Augustine with Theia. He still hasn't gotten back his memory...

MORE UPDATES: After slowly regaining his memory back, Asi went on to continue marrying his father's friend and business partner's daughter, Rasima. But the night of the official planning for the wedding, Asi decided to break-off the engagement and stay with Aletheia whom he cared about. Asi family was devastated and Rasima and her family did not take the news well. A week after the engagement was broken-off, Aletheia left Tangier without any word for Asi and never returned again. Rasima told Asi that she had offered Aletheia some money to leave the country and never to go back to Asi. Asi didn't believe this at first but he grew consumed of his own pain that he gave up looking for her although he eventually found her but refused contact.

Asi is now back to New York City to manage their company's U.S. office, unexpectedly, meeting Aletheia in the proces...

“Underneath” (Asi/Theia)

Arriving at the masquerade, Asi was greeted by a magnificent representation of a true host. From the unique invitation to the venue which was Master Laurent’s home as he gathered, Asi was impressed to say the least.

Adjusting the black mask that he wore, he stepped in the home, joining the crowd and who gathered around Lauernt who opened the ball with a speech. As the speech ended, guests clapped their hands and carried on interacting among themselves.

Walking around, he met a few people he knew and politely greet them before excusing himself. It wasn’t long before he found his slave, Aletheia. Walking from behind the woman, he placed a hand on her waist, his lips pressed in her left ear. “Where’s Danielle?” He asked, eyes scanning the area as he looked for the new slave he just purchased.
